Whiskey Sour

Makes 2 drinks

Ingredients

  • 9 cl (3 oz.) Bourbon-Whiskey
  • 6 cl (2 oz.) lemon juice
  • 2-3 cl (0.75 - 1 oz.) sugar syrup (2x sugar to water)
  • 1 egg white (as fresh as possible)

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

  • Cocktail shaker & measuring cup

Method

  1. Make sugar syrup by adding 200g of sugar to 100 ml of water. Heat up the mixture until the sugar has fully disolved and let cool.
  2. Add ice to your cocktail shaker and pour in Whiskey, lemon juice, 2 cl sugar syrup and the egg white. Put on the lid and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Taste the mixture and add more lemon juice if too sweet and more sugar syrup if too tart.
  4. Pour mixture through a strainer into 2 cocktail glasses. Serve cocktails without ice.
