Whiskey Sour
Makes 2 drinks
Ingredients
- 9 cl (3 oz.) Bourbon-Whiskey
- 6 cl (2 oz.) lemon juice
- 2-3 cl (0.75 - 1 oz.) sugar syrup (2x sugar to water)
- 1 egg white (as fresh as possible)
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
- Cocktail shaker & measuring cup
Method
- Make sugar syrup by adding 200g of sugar to 100 ml of water. Heat up the mixture until the sugar has fully disolved and let cool.
- Add ice to your cocktail shaker and pour in Whiskey, lemon juice, 2 cl sugar syrup and the egg white. Put on the lid and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
- Taste the mixture and add more lemon juice if too sweet and more sugar syrup if too tart.
- Pour mixture through a strainer into 2 cocktail glasses. Serve cocktails without ice.
